The military industry event will be held October 9-11, 2017 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC.
Planning a shooting range facility is a major undertaking and must be done early to avoid problems later. Meggitt Training Systems’ FATS 100MIL small-arms training system leverages key features and program-of-record certifications from the US Army Engagement Skills Trainer (EST II) and the US Marine Corps Indoor Simulated Marksmanship Trainer (ISMT). The FATS 100MIL is a major expansion in weapons training capability, introducing revolutionary features such as advanced game engine 3D marksmanship, enhanced diagnostics with intelligent automatic coaching and collective training. The new system provides an impressive array of functionality for both instructor and trainee, delivering solid weapon-handling and shot-placement analytics, coaching tools that automatically highlight trainee results for reinforcement or correction, and enhanced graphic capabilities for an all-encompassing immersive training platform.
The FATS 100P virtual training system also features advanced functionality for both instructor and trainee. Portable and light, the system delivers weapon handling, shot placement analytics, marksmanship automatic coaching tools and enhanced graphic capabilities. The FATS 100P comes in a rugged hand-carry case the size of a large range bag that allows one person easy transportation, set up and operation. FATS-compatible training weapons on display at AUSA will include a mortar, Colt M4 carbine and Beretta M9 pistol.
